Hi everyone and welcome to the Magellan Network Show. For today’s episode I’d like to talk about COI’s or Centers of Influence. In general, these are people who can boost your market access and credibility through referrals, testimonials, and word-of-mouth. As financial advisors, our COI’s are usually CPA’s. In an ideal world, we have 2 or 3 rockstar CPA’s who can flood us with qualified referrals. But let’s be honest, this rarely happens. This is because most CPA’s either have in-house wealth managers or are already working for someone else. And sometimes, they’re just not interested in the referral game.
